Accessing Collections
The vast majority of the items in our collections are not online. The Society owns thousands of archival collections viewable in our Archives reading room. To view and conduct research in our collections, visit us in person.
Hawks Tavern

Hawks Tavern, also known as Hawks Inn, with men on the porch and trees in the yard on each side.
Prescott House
1932
Exterior view of the Prescott House, an inn built in 1856 that served the nearby farmers until about 1870.
McKenna Residence
1914
The John McKenna residence, 2804 Columbia Road, Shorewood Hills, designed by Cora Tuttle. McKenna lived here for a short time and then sold house to Peter Dykema.
