Shoreland Acres
The home of Charles E. Butler was built in 1870 by a Civil War veteran Captain Charles Reynolds (one of the pioneer timber barons in the area). The house was constructed out of native pine sawed in the Captain's own mills. Mr. Butler bought the estate in 1919, rebuilding the house and landscaping the 7 acre tract. |
