Fred Rennebohm bought this drug store, at 1951 Winnebago Street, from Samuel A. Murphy in 1915. After 12 years he merged with his brother's stores and it bacame Rennebohm's No. 5. It was managed by Harold H. Hall. Fred Rennebohm worked for the Oscar Rennebohm Company until his death in 1962. In 1952 the business moved to 2000 Atwood Avenue and then in 1963 it moved to the Fiore Shopping Center at First Street and East Washington Avenue. Later it moved to the Madison East Shopping Center where it is a Walgreens today. |
