This red brick Italianate residence located at 216 Langdon Street, was built in 1870 for Lucien Stanley Hanks, a prominent Madison banker and civic leader, and his wife, the former Sybil Perkins. Leased by the Sigma Chi chapter from 1896-1897, and used by Tau Kappa Epsilon from 1923-1936. Demolished in 1966.
DESCRIPTION
