Edmund V. Bobrowicz Campaigning for Congress

Edmund V. Bobrowicz campaigning for Congress in Wisconsin's Fourth Congressional District. Bobrowicz, a worker at Greenebaum's Tannery and organizer for the Fur and Leather Workers Union (CIO), defeated incumbent Thaddeus Wasielewski in the Democratic primary. Wasielewski's decision to run as an Independent in the general election split the Democratic vote and allowed Republican John Brophy to be narrowly elected. |
