Accessing Collections
The vast majority of the items in our collections are not online. The Society owns thousands of archival collections viewable in our Archives reading room. To view and conduct research in our collections, visit us in person.

Music Hall, University of Wisconsin-Madison, also known as Assembly Hall and Library, designed by David R. Jones, and built starting in 1878.
South Hall
1938
South Hall at University of Wisconsin-Madison, built in 1855 and designed by John F. Rague.
Lucien Stanley Hanks House
1938
The Lucien Stanley Hanks house, located at 216 Langdon Street, was built in 1877.
Reverend F.F. Ford House
1938
Reverend F.F. Ford house, at 1023 Spaight Street, was built by Mr. Harris prior to 1875 when it was purchased by Storer. Winifred Ford, widow of Marcus Ford, lived here.
Napoleon B. Van Slyke House
1939
The Napoleon B. Van Slyke house located at 510 N. Carroll Street. The house was built for Van Slyke by A. Kutzbock about 1868.
Ella Giles House
1938
Ella Giles house, built by A.A. Bird around 1838 at 451 West Wilson Street.
