The Wiesman Inn is located on the northeast corner of County Trunk G and a town road which runs approximately due west from Kenosha and lies about one mile south of State Trunk Highway No. 43. The quotation on the place file card reads, "I am told that the main house was originally a post road inn and that the front part of the house with the small annex on the right are approximately one hundred years old while the L-shaped addition to the rear is about fifty years old. The old public room, or tap room as they call it down there, is 31 feet long and 23 feet wide." |
