Four unidentified men posing standing in front of office buildings. Sign in the window of the American Express Company Office shows a horse and advertises the Jackson County Fair, September 25, 26, 27. Charles J. Van Schaick's Studio was on the upper floor of the building on the left, the current location of the Black River Falls Historical Society. Van Schaick and Castle (Wis Independent newspaper) built the building in 1884 on South 1st Street. The building on the right was the office of Dr. Penton. |
