Studio portrait of Civil War soldier Syver (Sivert) Larson holding a rifle. He served as a Private in Company K of the 15th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry. He was a resident of Emmet County, Iowa, when he enlisted on February 3rd, 1862. He was wounded and taken prisoner at Stone River, and was mustered out February 10th, 1865 with the remainder of his company. |
