Young Andreas Larsen Dahl
Studio portrait of the young Andreas Larsen Dahl taken in Christiania (now Oslo), Norway, before he immigrated to the United States in 1869. Dahl was born in Valdres, Norway, in 1844 and worked as a photographer in Wisconsin from 1869 to 1879. He was sometimes known as Andrew Dahl. He became a Lutheran minister in 1883 and served his church in Wisconsin, North Dakota and Minnesota. He died in 1923. |
