Studio portrait of the Reverend Andreas Larsen Dahl, pastor of the Holden Lutheran Church in Mt. Morris, Waushara County, Wisconsin, from 1883 to 1912. Dahl was born in 1844 in Valdres, Norway, immigrated to the United States in 1869, and worked as a photographer from 1869 to 1879. He became a Lutheran minister in 1883 and served his church in Wisconsin, North Dakota and Minnesota. He died in 1923.
DESCRIPTION
Studio portrait of the Reverend Andreas Larsen Dahl, pastor of the Holden Lutheran Church in Mt. Morris, Waushara County, Wisconsin, from 1883 to 1912. Dahl was born in 1844 in Valdres, Norway, immigrated to the United States in 1869, and worked as a photographer from 1869 to 1879. He became a Lutheran minister in 1883 and served his church in Wisconsin, North Dakota and Minnesota. He died in 1923.
