Two women and a man stand in a garden that has trellises with Greek Revival frame house in background. The house has a small one story addition in back. Farm buildings, a carriage, and a carriage house are in the right background, and a picket fence in the foreground.  This is probably the Carla Burton residence. She was a school teacher, 18 years old in  the 1870 census.
DESCRIPTION
