| Inscription says: Dedicated Nov. 11 1935. To the memory of the sons of Gold Star Mothers by Service Star Legion, Wisconsin division. This symbol stands as a loving tribute and serves as our pledge of allegiance to their honored memory and to the cause for which they gave their lives. In the garden of memory the spirit of their sacrifice lives on forever. The records of the Gold Star Mothers are held in the manuscript collection of the Wisconsin Historical Society. |
