Large Cabbage Mushroom on Toledo Scale

A large polyporus frondosus or cabbage mushroom, 10" high and 14" by 28" thick, weighing 36 pounds, being weighed on a Toledo scale, was found growing between the porch of the house at 402 N. Murray Street and the neighboring popcorn stand. From 401 N. Murray Street, 17" by 24" and 36 pounds. |
