International Harvester Truck in Vietnam
International truck on a road in Vietnam. Another truck is behind on the right. The trucks were used to haul goods from the different provinces to Saigon, a city of three million people, many of whom have fled their country homes to the city because of the war. Report states: "Trucks used to carry vegetables from Da Lat (Central Highlands) to Saigon, over a distance of 300 kilometers. To travel from Da Lat to Saigon takes 6.5-7 hours. The roads are in good-fair condition." Description of equipment: City: Cholon. Loadstar 1700, 3 years old, standard; RA-146 Used." |
