Rustic Cottage at Frazier Lodge
Text on front reads: "Rustic Cottage at Frazier Lodge, on Sand Lake Highways 70 and 27, Near Stone Lake, Sawyer County, Wis." On reverse it reads: "Lodge and cozy mosquito-proof furnished log and frame cabins and free camp site on Big Sand Lake. Muskie, Bass, Pike, Trout Streams, Safe Sand Beach, Boats, Motors, Garages, Finest Drinking Water, Wooded Estate. Tennis, Water Sports, Indian Reservation and Golf near. Courtesy - our motto. Address on opposite side." A log cabin with a stone chimney has a porch overlooking the lake. Trees are on the left. The postcard was written to Governor Rennebohm from Edward Frazer concerning deer hunting. "Dear Governor, We compliment you on the stand you have taken - When you refused to approve the nine-day any-deer season. It seems to me if we are to have an any-deer season - it should be a short season. When in this locality we shall be glad if you would give us a call." |
