Policemen Recovering from Knife Wounds
A nun is handing a glass to a man in a bed. Another man — who has numerous stitches along the side of his face — is standing next to the bed. Caption reads: "Recovering from knife wounds, two Milwaukee policemen share the same room at Misericordia hospital. The officers, William G. Kasten, 23, of 3625 N. 82nd st., and Kenneth G. Stanelle, 29, (right) of 1945 N. 28th st., were slashed in a knife-gun fight on Thanksgiving night. They talked with Sister Immaculate Heart of Mary, S.M." |
