Bertha von der Sump was the mother of Will, Hattie, Fred and Leta. Fred von der Sump was a graduate of Beloit College and Yale Divinity School. In the photograph he appears to be wearing a wedding ring. It is possible that the unidentified woman at far right is his wife, Lucille Davenport von der Sump. The couple was married in Stevens Point in the summer of 1913. |
