Cathedral Woods, now known as Cathedral Pines and part of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, is open to the public as a Wisconsin State Natural Area. Lucy Holt is responsible for the conservation of this stand of old growth pine-hemlock forest. Source: Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources website.
