The group includes George Brumder at lower right, with his wife Henriette Brandhorst Brumder behind and to the right. In the center is their daughter, Ida Johanna Brumder Maercher (later spelled Merker), with her husband Hugo, who is resting his hand on her shoulder. The two women flanking Hugo are identified as sisters Amalie (Molly) and Emma Brumder, but their position is not specified. At far left are Mr. and Mrs. (?Julia) Lamprecht. The men are wearing suits and neckties; George Brumder is also wearing an overcoat with capelet.
