Isabel La Follette and Deborah Sherman
Isabel La Follette (right) and probably Deborah Sherman, are discussing the Woman's Service Exchange, which Mrs. La Follette started at the Madison Vocational and Adult School. It was designed to unite older employable women, who wanted to work, with employers, who needed women workers. Mrs. Sherman was the Executive Secretary of the Exchange Committee. They are both sitting in armchairs in front of a book shelf, clock and framed painting. |
