Skate-A-Way for ERA
Several women and children are walking, riding bicycles, or on roller skates. Some are carrying signs that read: "Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any state on account of sex," and "We're worth the 'hassle;' give us the E.R.A." Caption reads: "Skate-A-Way for the ERA — There were skaters, bikers, joggers and walkers who participated in the Skate-A-Way for ERA, sponsored by the Waukesha Chapter of the National Organization for Women. Many carried signs at the start of the fund-raising event as they left the Waukesha County Courthouse." |
