Beaver Removal
A warden, wearing high laced boots and leather jodhpurs, is holding a beaver by the tail while standing in shallow water. A second man, wearing waders, is cringing behind him, with arms raised in a protective posture. The description on the reverse of the print reads: "The removal of a beaver from one spot where their dams are harmful to the surrounding territory to another more adaptable spot is a hard job if not a wet one." |
