Nonpareil mat, sandy finish. Case in two pieces. William Beers, born about 1820, Pittsford, NY, son of Edward Beers and Ann(?) Billinghurst of England. Married Agnes Sharp of Canada. They lived in Pittsford, Cuba, NY and Rochester. Father of Minnie Beers. Brother of John, Ellen, Ann, Thomas, Edward, and Henry all of Pittsford, NY. Father's 200 acre farm lay near Armstrong's Hill and is now intact, including the family burial ground where rest Edward Beers, Ellen Beers, her parents Thomas and Ellen Billinghurst and Thomas Beers, my grandfather. - Zona Gale Breese |
