This map of Onalaska shows township and section numbers, additions and subdivisions, some plot owners outside the municipality, the Black River, voting wards, street names, cemeteries, railroads, parks, schools, churches, Island Mill Lumber Company land and buildings, masonic hall, railroad depot, Nichols Lumber Company's land and sawmill and planing mill, wagon bridge, road to French Island, and Onalaska brewery. An inset table is titled: "List of plats in order of date of record" (1851-1889).
