Map
This color map, originally published in the Smithsonian Institution Bureau of American Ethnology's 18th annual report, shows Indian reservations and land cessions in Wisconsin. Also indicated on the map are Indian villages, trading posts, and the old road from Blue Mound to Fort Winnebago at the portage of the Wisconsin and Fox Rivers. Color coded and numbered regions are explained on pages 645-949 ("Schedule of Indian Land Cessions") of the report.
