This map shows the plotting of the various townships in Wisconsin, both those that had been surveyed and some outlines for those which have not. A note in the bottom left corner explains the symbols used to mark the townships. A few cities and forts are labeled as are several prominent rivers, waterfalls, and a few lakes. In the middle of Wisconsin a section is left void of townships, and simply labeled "Menomonie Indians." |
