| Outdoor group portrait of the Wisconsin delegates at the National Convention of the American Society of Equity, held in Indianapolis. The American Society of Equity was an agricultural cooperative and political organization to organize farmers, so they could compete with capital and organized labor as an economic power. Although the Society merged with the Farmers' Union in 1934, it was the model for future farmer cooperatives. |
