The creation date was corrected on 10-6-2021 per the Historic Structure Report, Book V, Wisconsin State Capitol, Central Portion-Dome and Rotunda, 1997. The report cites a 20 July 1914 Wisconsin State Journal article. The text at the bottom of the photograph reads: "Raised to Dome at 3 pm, Oct-16-1913. -Placed on Scaffold-" This date is incorrect.
