World War II B-25

"Skunkie," a restored B-25 bomber similar those flown in the famous Jimmy Doolittle Raid on Tokyo. At the 50th anniversary celebration of the raid, "Skunkie" was placed on permanent display at the South Carolina State Museum. The B-25 flew on all fronts during World War II, but is most famous for the Doolittle Raid. The publicity campaign for this anniversary event received an award from the Public Relations Society of America.
