Cottage at Black Point
An exterior view of the cottage built on the Black Point Estate in 1905. There are several screened porches and large awnings over the main floor windows. The house originally served to extend Mrs. Conrad Seipp's summer stays at the estate, allowing her to arrive earlier in the spring and stay later in the fall, as the larger main house was unheated. Two of Mrs. Seipp's daughters and their families, the Madleners and Bartholomays, also used the cottage as a summer home. |
