Madison's Truax Field

A Northwest Airlines DC-4 plane at the Truax terminal. Originally constructed in 1937 with assistance from the WPA, the Madison Municipal Airport was renamed Truax Field during World War II to honor Tommy Truax, a local air cadet killed during a training accident. |
