Home Built Pietenpol

A home built Pietenpol buit by members of the Waukesha Aviation Club after its initial flight. They are Chet Wolt, Jack Leeman, Dean Crites, and Bob Lathrop. Dean Crites, one of two brothers well-known in Wisconsin aviation, had flown the test flight. Their airplane was designed by Bernard Pietpenpol to make aviation affordable for the average citizen. His planes were available as kits, parts, or plans. |
