"Flying Fleet" followed the career of six Annapolis graduates who became Navy flyers. The production received full cooperation from the U.S. Navy, to which it was dedicated. As a result the motion picture includes authentic footage of Navy aircraft during the 1920s. The lead actor, Mexican-born Ramon Navarro was one of the best known romantic heroes of his time. Although "Flying Fleet" was a silent film, it was released with synchronized music and sound efforts. |
