027 - Library in Main Lodge
Interior view of library in Main Lodge. Two campers are seated at a table reading; another camper is browsing the shelves. Original caption notes: "In 1937, we established this Library in a pleasant corner of the Main Lodge. Each year the State of Wisconsin loans us a splendid collection which, added to the Camp library makes available to the campers several hundred volumes of fiction and stories, poetry, nature lore, and activity books. It is tastefully decorated with coloured pictures of game birds and Currier and Ives prints of outdoor subjects." |
