Postcard
Lincoln Beachey

Lincoln Beachey, the best known aviator of the exhibition era, performed in Wisconsin with his Curtiss Pusher airplane on numerous occasions. This postcard was produced as a souvenir of his appearance at the La Crosse Interstate Fair. A local newspaper headlined its news coverage: "Remarkable exhibition of control of aeroplane against most adverse conditions preserved on 2nd day of fair and crowd gets its money's worth in a few minutes." |
