Wilbur Wright died of typhoid fever in 1912, probably weakened by the patent litigation in which the brothers were engaged with Glenn Curtiss. Less interested than Wilbur in the management of the company, Orville sold out to investors in 1915. He continued to be a strong advocate for aviation until his death in 1948. |
