"Shoplifting" Seminars, Sponsored By Kroger Stores
| The Park Hotel was host to 26 Madison area Kroger store managers where seminars were held to study shoplifting. City, county and area law enforcement officers attended the seminars which were aimed at cutting the $2 million lost by the nation's Kroger stores to shoplifters last year. Attending the seminar, left to right, are: Joseph Bloodgood, Dane county District attorney; Captain Thomas Nee, Madison police department; A. W. Storch, Kroger company division accountant and Carl R. Shipley, Kroger district manager. |
