Explore downtown La Pointe as you experience island landscapes, architecture present and past, and captivating stories representing the many cultures and people that have impacted Madeline Island's rich history. Many of the island's secrets are brought to life on this trek through time. Hear stories of fires, wind, building migrations and interesting residents who lived and worked on the island over the years.

$10 per person.
Society members receive a 10% discount.
Advance registration is required.

Know Before You Go:
Tours depart from the Madeline Island Museum. Please check-in 5-10 minutes before the tour. This is an easy walk on paved or cobblestone paths with some walking on grass and a spot of unpaved, dirt walkway. Please dress for the weather. Snacks and water make the journey easier. There is one bathroom stop along the tour. The tour may be canceled due to heavy rain.
