National History Day events are held each spring in every region of Wisconsin. Below you'll find registration, dates, and contact information for your region.

National History Day events are held each spring in every region of Wisconsin. Below you'll find registration, dates, and contact information for your region.
Wisconsin has eight National History Day regions based on county groupings. Your region is based on your school's location. Each region has a sponsoring institution and a regional coordinator, who coordinates the regional contest as well as provides an additional level of support to participating teachers.
Student Registration Instructions: (Student Registration opens January 1st.)
Go to: register.nhd.org.
Click "Find Contest."
Scroll down to Wisconsin and select your contest.
Limit of 5 entries per category/division per school. Contact historyday@wisconsinhistory.org to learn what regional your school should attend. If you do not see your school listed, ask your teacher. Your teacher should contact us.
