This image is from the papers of Mary Etta Hagan, a descendant of early settlers of New Richmond, Wis. (St. Croix Co.). The collection consists mainly of Hagan's genealogical research into her mother's and father's families (Donohue and Hagan, respectively) and collected family papers. Both families have roots in Ireland. Included are brief family histories and group sheets; both family correspondence and Hagan's research correspondence; clippings; photographs; copies of pages from family Bibles recording births, deaths, and marriages; and collected miscellaneous items relating to various family members. Other family names represented in the papers include Barger, Carroll, McGoldrick, McConville, Mahoney, Scott, and Martin. |
