North and West View of Fire Damage
Text on front reads: "North and West View, St. John's Institute for Deaf Mutes, St. Francis, Wis. Aug 1, 1907." A partially burned stone and brick building. The fire began in the chapel roof, and no one was injured. There is an image on the reverse of a stone and wood barn with trees. A large bird is perched on the chimney. The text reads: "Wishing You a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. The Faculty and Pupils of St. John's School for the Deaf, St. Francis, Wis. 1940." |
