Model T's as Snowmobiles
Winter scene of early snowmobile race at Rangeline Lake. Bill Neu (right), winner, Harold Hansen (left). Special conversion kits were available which allowed skis to be mounted on front wheel spindles, and an endless belt arrangement mounted on rear wheels. In the background is a crowd, and in the far background is what may be a wooden structure for ski jumping on top of a hill. In the lower right is the text: "Wm Neu. Winner Snowmobile Race. Winter-Sports. Three Lakes, Wis." |
