A mosaic stone flagpole and flag stand behind her. In the background is the stone convent building, and beyond that, a barn and silo. The convent was established by the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration in 1898. The grotto was built 1925-1930 by Father Paul Dobberstein. |
