Tillie Twine Chases Away Mice and Insects
Promotional advertisement available through the International Harvester Advertising Service for use by International Harvester dealers, part of the 1949 Twine Promotion. The advertisement tells the story of the Twine Promotion mascots, Homer Hemp, Susie Sisal, and Tillie Twine. In the advertisement Tillie Twine is chasing a worried looking mouse and cockroach with a pistol. Susie Sisal, with broom in hand, is exclaiming: "Our Tillie sure chases away the mice and insects!". Homer Hemp looks on excitedly with a bat in his hand. At the bottom of the advertisement is where the dealership name and address would appear. |
